Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all vehicle rentals arranged through CanaryDrives in Tenerife. By submitting an enquiry or confirming a booking, you agree to the terms below.

1. Bookings & confirmation

All enquiries made through our website or WhatsApp are subject to vehicle availability. A booking is only confirmed once we have replied confirming the dates, vehicle and price in writing (via WhatsApp or email).

2. Driver requirements

• Minimum age of 25, unless otherwise agreed for specific vehicles
• Valid driving licence held for at least 2 years
• Valid passport or national ID at pick-up

3. Security deposit

A refundable security deposit is required for each vehicle, as shown on its listing. The deposit is held during the rental period and refunded after the vehicle is returned in its original condition, subject to fuel level and any damage assessment.

4. Insurance

All rentals include basic insurance cover. The renter remains responsible for any excess/deductible in the event of an accident, damage, theft, or loss, up to the value of the security deposit unless a higher liability applies.

5. Fuel policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned with the same fuel level. A refuelling charge plus service fee applies if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.

6. Pick-up & delivery

Vehicles can be collected from our location in Tenerife or delivered to your hotel or villa where available, subject to prior arrangement and possible delivery fees depending on location.

7. Cinematic Film add-on

The optional Cinematic Film add-on includes a short professionally filmed video of you with the rented vehicle, delivered digitally after your rental. Pricing depends on the vehicle, as shown at the time of booking.

8. Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the pick-up date are free of charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours of pick-up, or no-shows, may be subject to a cancellation fee.

9. Damage & liability

The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period and agrees to return it in the same condition as received, normal wear excepted. Any traffic fines, tolls, or penalties incurred during the rental are the renter's responsibility.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
